REDUCE:
Keep and buy only the amount you'll need and use. Organizing "like" items together shows you at a glance when you're running low or have excess. This works especially well if you have limited space. Ask yourself questions like "how many empty binders do I really need?".

REUSE:
An old TV stand might make a good bookcase in a bedroom. A wooden chair could be placed in your garden, inviting you to bring your coffee outside on a sunny morning. Donate unwanted items to friends or charities, instead of tossing in the garbage bin.

RECYCLE:
Stacking recycle bins, or garbage bags hung on hooks, enables automatic sorting. If space is limited, smaller collection containers in the house could get dumped into larger bins/bags in a garage or shed. If you're having trouble getting the recycling taken away, then sign up for curbside pickup. Get the family involved and split the duties.

Being environmentally friendly can be easy!
